How to become an EPLAN Certified Engineer
To become an EPLAN Certified Engineer (ECE), you need to follow a structured training program offered by an EPLAN Training Academy. Here’s an overview of the process:
Start with the Basics: Depending on your prior knowledge, you begin with either a basic or refresher training on EPLAN software. This initial step includes mastering foundational concepts like EPLAN Electric P8 and data management.
Specialization Modules: Once the basics are complete, you can then choose a specialization that aligns with your interests or job requirements. Options include:
- 3D control cabinet design with EPLAN Pro Panel.
- Cable planning and electromechanical cabling.
- Documentation for electrical circuit diagrams and production documents.
Practical Training: Next, you engage in hands-on training and practice sessions to apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Certification Exam: Finally, the program concludes with a theoretical and practical exam. By passing this exam, you earn the EPLAN Certified Engineer certification.
Continuous Learning: The certification remains valid for three years, after which you can renew it by taking a new exam.
